For some reason I cant get on the forums that aren't public, so I'll say my goodbyes here.

I feel like a giant douchebag leaving Renaissances in it's current state, but the fact of the matter is that we have not been able to run 25 man raids for quite some time (since the summer started), and we have been stuck running 10 man raids.

I have nothing against running 10 mans if I at the same get to explore new content, but when Gorgo tried to make a hard mode team - which is the only way for some to see new content - there was protests from all sides. I can understand that some people want to gear up players so we can do 25 man raids again, but it seems like we are just gearing up a never ending flood of socials, who are never there for 25 man raids anyway. Furthermore there has been done no serious attempts of recruiting new players, I have tried a little, but it seems futile without a joint effort from the guild.

Before a lot of people left with Naty, it seemed like there were different groups in the guild with different levels of ambition, those who were raiding a lot and took it very serious (I include myself in this group) and those who didn’t raid a lot and took it less seriously. It seemed that there had developed a group of hardcore raiders in a guild that prides itself of being casual, so maybe it’s only right that these people find a new place.

All in all it seems that if I'm going to explore new content before Icecrown and raid with people who share my level of ambition, I'm gonna have to find a new guild. I had a great time with you all, and I hope you can see I have taken my time making this decision, it wasn't an easy one. I'll see you all in the game.

Well, it's because your character has left the guild. The permissions here are determined by your rank in the guild, so currently we have the same access as a member of the public.

They're not hiding, it's just the way the site is setup. We can view the "General" section, although I don't think we can post there, only in the Public areas.

To me it looks like major comunication disruption. If you want to organise a raid, you need to know what ppl want - the onixia story shows that in full strength. Another example - some ppl log on drama evening and have no idea as of what's going on.

P.S. How come ppl can't find a compromise? Any one seriously thinks what 24 more ppl will want exactly the same thing as (s)he?

I counted a lot of you as friends. Particularly Naty, Pat and Max. Yet I knew nothing until I logged on Saturday evening and 5 days later nobody has even had the decency to speak to me about it. Friends eh?

I'm still so angry and hurt that it has taken me this long to write anything. I still cannot believe you would do it to me/us after all the work over the past year. Last conversation I had with Naty was "trust me I'm working on something" ...lol Friends eh?
